At MG Clothing, we want you to love every purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward return and exchange policy designed to make the process as easy as possible.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused and unworn
  • Unwashed and unaltered
  • All original tags attached
  • Original packaging intact
  • Within 7 days of delivery
  • Accompanied by order invoice

Not eligible

  • Worn, washed, or altered items
  • Items without original tags
  • Damaged by customer misuse
  • Beyond 7-day return window
  • Missing original packaging
  • Items marked as final sale

The following categories are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to hygiene and product nature:

Initiating a return is simple. Follow the steps below to get started:

Log in to your account

Visit mgclothing.in, sign in, and go to 'My Orders.'

Select the item to return

Step 2

Find the relevant order and click 'Request Return.' Select the item(s) and reason for return.

Choose return method

Step 3

Select free pick-up (where available) or self-ship to our returns address.

Pack the item securely

Step 4

Place the item in its original packaging with all tags attached. Include a copy of your invoice.

Hand over / ship the item

Step 5

Our pick-up agent will collect within 2–3 business days. For self-ship, dispatch within 48 hours of approval.

Receive your refund

Step 6

Once we inspect the item (1–2 business days after receipt), your refund will be processed.

We offer size and colour exchanges within 7 days of delivery, subject to stock availability. Exchanges are processed after the original item passes our quality inspection.

  • Exchanges are available for a different size or colour of the same product only
  • If the desired size or colour is unavailable, we will offer a store credit or refund
  • Only one exchange is permitted per order item
  • Exchanged items are subject to the same return eligibility criteria
  • No price difference is charged for size/colour exchanges of the same SKU
  • Exchange shipping is free for eligible pin codes; self-ship reimbursed up to ₹100 otherwise

Once your returned item is inspected and approved, your refund will be issued via one of the following methods:

You may choose to receive your refund as MG Clothing store credit instead of a payment reversal. Store credit offers a faster resolution and an added bonus:

  • Store credit can be used across all products on the Site
  • Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be converted back to cash
  • Partial use of store credit is allowed — remaining balance is retained in your wallet
  • Credit expires 12 months from the date of issue; expired credit cannot be reinstated

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we sincerely apologise. Please follow the steps below to report the issue:

Report within 48 hours

Contact us at support@mgclothing.in or via 'My Orders' within 48 hours of delivery.

Submit photo/video evidence

Attach clear photographs or a short video showing the defect, damage, or wrong item received.

Await review

Our quality team will review your claim within 24–48 business hours.

Resolution

Upon approval, we will arrange a free replacement or full refund — no return shipping required for defective items.

We offer free return pick-up for most serviceable pin codes across India. If pick-up is not available in your area, you may self-ship the item to our returns address.

  • Free pick-up available for eligible pin codes — select at the time of return initiation
  • Pick-up is scheduled within 2–3 business days of return approval
  • For self-ship, use any trackable courier service and retain your shipping receipt
  • Self-ship return costs are reimbursed up to ₹100 as store credit after verification
  • MG Clothing is not responsible for items lost or damaged during self-ship transit

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled — please initiate a return after delivery instead.

  • Cancellations are accepted within 2 hours of placing the order
  • To cancel, go to 'My Orders' and click 'Cancel Order,' or contact support immediately
  • If the order has already been packed or dispatched, cancellation is not possible
  • Prepaid cancellations are refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days
  • COD cancellations require no refund as no payment was made

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided for a return, exchange, or refund request, you may escalate the matter through the following channels:

  • Email our customer care team at support@mgclothing.in with your order ID and issue summary
  • If unresolved within 5 business days, escalate to grievance@mgclothing.in
  • Our Grievance Officer will respond within 7 business days of receiving the escalation
  • In the event of an unresolved dispute, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat
